Wow, I can hardly believe it's been this long - 5 years ago, April 7th, 2003, the Old Warriors Society became an independent clan.

Call of Duty 4 BFCL Competition starting

Call Of Duty Modern Combat

Old Warriors has a new 20 player Call of Duty Server at 8.6.75.130. Anybody interested in play are encouraged to show up Tuesdays and Thursdays at 9PM for pub play. Server is running a variety of maps and modes. It is ranked and admin'd.

Friends and guests are welcome in our Ventrilo server, also.

oWs 4 Year Anniversary

Congratulations oWs!!! Today is our 4th anniversay. After the BF1942 team split from 30+, oWs was created on 4/7/03. Thank you to all the past and current oWs members who have participated, donated and contributed to the longevity of our clan.

BF 2142 Server

Season #1 for SUC in the 3FL

We wrapped up our inaugural Small Unit Combat (SUC) Season in the 3FL recently. In this League we played from 5 on 5 up to 8 on 8. No Commanders, vehicles, mounted weapons, only what you carried. Many found this new format a lot of fun and very different as UAV and radar couldn't spot you. Stealth, Squad tactics, and individual combat became very important. oWs fielded two Teams this Season - Team 1 (the more dedicated gamers) and Plan B (the more casual gamers plus new recruits).
Team 1 went undefeated for the entire Season! They only lost 3 Maps out of the 21 they played. They were heavy favorites going into the Playoffs, but once again, Karkand raised its ugly head, and FSSF/TE upset them in the second round to end their Season.
Plan B had some good moments and some scuffles to get enough players as might be expected among the casual group of players staffing the Roster. They finished at 4-5 and also lost in the second round of the Playoffs. Many from that Team got a taste of this Competition Format and are now looking forward to the upcoming Season #2.
All in all, a very fun format and we had a Great time with our 3FL friends. Thanks to all who participated!

BF2 Season 2 in 3FL

We finished up Season 2 in 3FL's 16 vs 16 BF2 League. We started out hot and we were in first place in the Cobra Division for most of the season as we only lost to the Skiritai early in a close Match. But, at the end of the season we lost 2 of our last 3 Matches to finish tied for first with FNT at 8-3. Next up were the Playoffs. We steadily won our way through them until the Finals of the Cobra Division where we met FNT. We lost a nailbiter in overtime on Karkand. That ended our Season.
All in all, it was another Great Season of fun in the 3FL as we played our brother Clans every week in close and competitive Matches. Many thanks to all our opponents and to everyone in our Clan for such a successful Season!
